FLAIL MOWER: HOW IT WORKS AND HOW TO CHOOSE IT
28/01/2022EIMA has finally re-opened its doors to major events with in-person attendance. After a gap of 18 months, the 44th edition of EIMA International, the prestigious exhibition of agricultural and gardening machinery, was held.
- Speech by Governor Bonaccini
Before the event, the Governor of Emilia Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini, expressed his optimism about the future: “The trade fair has been resumed, with in-person attendance at last, and Italy has also restarted. We are among the world champions in this production sector. Agriculture and the agri-food industry are driving recovery and growth: we must seize this remarkable opportunity, which, on the one hand, sees growth by the end of next year estimated at 10-11%, while, on the other, awaiting the arrival of funds from the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). Furthermore, in 2023 the new CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) will see a large part of the European budget dedicated to agriculture. In the 2021-2022 transitional period, we will obtain as much as €408 million for our Regional Administration, the only one that has received the green light from Brussels for the submitted plan without any criticism.”
- The 2021 exhibition
The 44th edition of EIMA International – with the presence of 1,350 exhibitors (including 350 foreign exhibitors from 40 countries), 14 sectors of specialisation, 5 themed halls, and116 conferences on technical and political issues – was attended by many economic operators interested in new products and cutting-edge technologies.
High demand is promising for the future. The purchase of new-generation operating machines allows agricultural holdings to make considerable progress in terms of economic sustainability and the environmental compatibility of operations. Highly innovative models on show at EIMA 2021 feature electronic function control systems, monitoring sensors and technologies that optimise the tractor/equipment ratio, thereby making operations more sustainable.
- The outlook according to BellonMit
Angelo and Arianna Bellon comment on the success of the EIMA trade fair: “The positive feedback received during the event is in keeping with the excellent trend recorded throughout 2021. On the whole, we have noticed sound confidence in the coming years.
The new products presented and the new range of equipment for professional gardening aroused the interest of all the visitors we had the pleasure of hosting during the event.
We were delighted by the internationality of the visitors, their curiosity and professionalism: these distinctive traits led them to participate in the 44th edition of EIMA, an edition as eagerly awaited as it was feared.
As usual, EIMA proved to be a highly important showcase for developing our distribution network, not only for showing and explaining new projects to our long-standing customers but also to all the new contacts who visited us. We will not fail to support those who have been loyal to us and those who have shown a keen interest in the work we do, also because we aim to expand our business and involve new companies.”
